Huge thanks to everyone who has sponsored me for this year's London Marathon!
I am thrilled to let you know that over £2,500 has been raised for Wakefield District Sight Aid to date and all of us at the charity are so grateful for your generosity.
I completed the marathon in 4 hours 47 minutes, beating my previous marathon time from 2011 by over eighteen minutes. The weather was perfect for running - not too hot, quite cloudy and a little light drizzle in places. As usual, the support from the crowds was amazing and kept me going when I was struggling with cramp about halfway round.
