Cancellation of events on Thursday 25th June

Due to the current extremely hot weather, our Pontefract coffee morning and Art Beyond Vision session that were scheduled for Thursday 25th June have been cancelled.

**CANCELLATION OF PONTEFRACT COFFEE MORNING AND ART BEYOND VISION TOMORROW**

There is currently an Amber Heat-Health Alert in place until 11pm on Friday across Yorkshire and The Humber. On Thursday 25th June, temperatures are expected to reach 32 degrees and to feel like 35 degrees.

We have therefore taken the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow's Pontefract coffee morning at The Broken Bridge and this week’s Art Beyond Vision session, particularly to avoid anyone travelling to St. Swithun’s during the hottest part of the day. St. Swithun’s doesn’t have air conditioning, so regulating the temperature inside can be difficult in extreme heat and we would hate for anyone to become unwell.
